Lion Noir

1st October 2013

What: A lovely restaurant in the centre of Amsterdam. It’s the perfect place for a romantic evening out or a nice family dinner.

Food: French kitchen, very delicate. Probably every dish on the menu is amazing.

Atmosphere & design: Although it is a rather chic restaurant, the atmosphere is very cosy. The interior is extraordinary: find propellers at the ceiling, a peacock gazing at you, or a seat next to a geisha. They’ve won a prize for their design, need I say more?

Insiders tip: During hot summer nights you should definitely reserve a table in their garden. Dining in the middle of flowers, rommmmantic!

Price category: A starter will cost you between 12 and 18 euros. Main courses are between 20 and 25 euros.
