“In 2010 the United Nations declared access to clean drinking water and sanitation to be a basic human right. However 768 million people still lack access to an improved source of drinking water and 2.5 billion people still lack access to improved sanitation. We want to change this.”

Marie Stella Maris

Patrick Munsters, founder of Marie Stella Maris, first started selling bottles of mineral water and donated a fixed amount towards clean drinking water projects in Uganda, Tanzania and Bangladesh. Now, they’ve expanded their brand and create skincare products as well. Because next to clean drinking water, each person on earth also deserves hygiene.

In their recently opened shop in Amsterdam you can buy their cosmetic products (most beautiful black and white packaging ever!) and water bottles and support different projects in third world countries. You have to admit: shopping while supporting a good cause is one of the best things there is.

If you go downstairs you’ll find their small coffeebar; great for a croissant, a caffe latte and a fresh orange juice for breakfast.

Didn’t plan a getaway to Amsterdam (a pity, you should!)? You can also order their products online.
