What: My all time favourite place to go and dine for a special occasion; great food in a sublime setting.
Food: A mix of Japanese and French food. They serve superfresh sushi and sashimi. For those who don’t like sushi; they also have excellent fish (king crab, yum!) and meat dishes (roasted duck, mmm).
Atmosphere & design: Roji is situated in a cellar in a medieval building; the arches on the ceiling are stunning. The atmosphere is cosy and romantic. You can choose to sit at an intimate table or at the sushi bar in the back (watch your sushi being made).
Insiders tip: Try Basil Smash (my favourite cocktail!) in their cosy sofas next to the fireplace as an apero. If you are a sushi lover choose their Sexy Roll, delicious!
Price category: A 5 course menu costs you 49 euros (excl. wine) or 79 euros (incl. wine). You can also eat à la carte: for main courses you pay between 20 and 40 euros. A sushi roll costs between 8 and 20 euros.
